(17052705 PARK LANE, HANDSWORTH WOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in PARK LANE, between its junction with Holyhead Road and its junction with Swan Pool Car Park.
The temporary Order is required to allow utility works to be carried out in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Holyhead Road, Island Road, Sandwell Road, Oxhill Road, Friary Road, Hamstead Hill, Old Walsall Road, Hamstead Road, Newton Road and Forge Lane.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation 24th March 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 6 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
