The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion
that the road is not necessary for road traffic, gives notice
of its intention to make an Order under Article 68 of the
Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which
would be to abandon an area of 71 square metres of road
at Carneyhaugh Business Park, Newry commencing at a
point 27 metres south-west of the junction of the Rathfriland
Road with the entrance to the Carneyhaugh Business Park
and continuing for a distance of 19.8 metres in a southwesterly direction.
The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated
on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may
be inspected free of charge during office hours within the
period 11 March 2025 to 22 April 2025 at DfI Roads Southern
Division, Newry Mourne & Down (West) Section Office,
Carnbane Depot, 2 Springhill Road, Newry BT35 6EF or
viewed online at

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment
only which can be arranged either by e-mail using the e-mail
address below or by telephone during office hours (Monday
to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) on 0300 200 7899.
Any person may, within the period above, object to the
proposal by writing to the Department at the address above
or by e-mailing

Temporary One Way
Lane Closure
on the B0133 Millvale Road Bessbrook
in the direction of A25 Camlough Road
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance
of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited
the use 110 m of the named above road to through traffic,
from the junction with Kidds Road to the junction with
Cloughreagh Park from 9.30 to 16.30 daily from Monday 17
March until Monday 7 April 2025.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate NIW emergency repairs
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being diverted
via: C0216 Kidds Road A28 Armagh Road A28 Craigmore
Way and A25 Camlough Road.
