THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Chapel Road, Ford) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chapel Road for approx. 167M. The closure is required whilst an inspection of the bridge commences on 21 March 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 March 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk not later than 23 April 2025, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
