Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HIGHWAYS

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

Bunkers Hill Road, Rectory Road & Ridley Hill, Ash. TN15 7EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of pole testing and tree cutting, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bunkers Hill Road, Rectory Road and Ridley Hill, Ash, on or after 1st April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

Bunkers Hill Road will be closed between Rectory Road and Oak tree Cottage.

Rectory Road will be closed between Bunkers Hill Road and Ridley Court Farm.

Ridley Hill will be closed between Bunkers Hill Road and The Old Rectory.

The alternative route for Bunkers Hill Road is via New Street Road and vice versa.

The alternative route for Rectory Road and Ridley Hill is via New Street Road, Idleigh Court Road, Hartley Bottom Road, Ridley Hill and vice versa.

 

Castle Hill, Hartley. DA3 7BQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of pole testing, tree cutting and overhead works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, on or after 20th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Hurstgrove and Oakfield.

The alternative route is via Castle Hill, Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road, Fawkham Road and vice versa.

 

Chafford Lane, Fordcombe. TN3 0SP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of drainage improvement works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chafford Lane, Fordcombe, on or after 21st March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the river to entrance to The Drive.

The alternative route is via Chafford Lane, B2188 Spring Hill, Sandfield Road, Walters Green Road and vice versa.

 

Cotmans Ash Lane, Kemsing. TN15 6XB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of tree surgery works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cotmans Ash Lane, Kemsing, on or after 1st April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Rising Sun.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Row Dow, Birchin Cross Road, Clarkes Green Lane and vice versa.

 

Crownfields, Sevenoaks. TN13 1EH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crownfields, Sevenoaks, on or after 18th March 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 8.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Granville Road, Sevenoaks. TN13 1EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of repairs to a sewer pipe, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Granville Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 5th April 2025 for up to 17 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 8.

The alternative route is via Gordon Road, Argyle Road and vice versa.

 

Hampkins Hill Road, Chiddingstone. TN8 7BA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hampkins Hill Road, Chiddingstone, on or after 17th March 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Coneyearth and Chested Farm.

The alternative route is via Hampkins Hill Road, The Village, Mill Lane, B2027 Chequers Hill/Tonbridge Road and vice versa.

 

High Street, Shoreham. TN14 7TB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

To replace a decaying pole, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Shoreham, on or after 20th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 44.

The alternative route is via High Street - Shacklands Road - A224 London Road - A224 Polhill - A224 Morants Court Road - London Road - Pilgrims Way West - Twitton Lane - Filston Lane - High Street and vice versa.

 

Malthouse Road, Stanstead. TN15 7ET (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Malthouse Road, Stanstead, on or after 21st March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Pease Hill and Malt House Cottage.

The alternative route is via Malthouse Road, Stansted Hill, Fairseat Lane, Haven Hill, Pease Hill and vice versa.

 

Moat Lane, Chiddingstone Hoath & Cowden TN8 7DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of pole testing, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Moat Lane, Chiddingstone Hoath & Cowden, on or after 2nd April 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Top Hill and Bassetts Old Barn.

The alternative route is via Finch Green, Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Cowden Pound Road To Truggers Lane, Buckhurst Lane, Station Road, Blowers Hill and vice versa.

 

Noahs Ark, Kemsing. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new gas service, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Noahs Ark, Kemsing, on or after 6th April 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 14.

The alternative route is via Noahs Ark, Church Street, A25 High Street, School Lane, Childsbridge Lane, West End, St Ediths Road and vice versa.

 

Scollops, Ide Hill. TN14 6JZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a BT service to a customer, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Scollops, Ide Hill, on or after 31st March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with B2042 Ide Hill Road.

The alternative route is via Scollops, Yorks Hill, Gracious Lane, B2042 Wheatsheaf Hill/Ide Hill Road and vice versa.

 

Spode Lane, Cowden.TN8 7HW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spode Lane, Cowden, on or after 20th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Willsfield, for approx. 200m in a southerly direction.

The alternative route is via North Street, High Street, Butterwell Hill, B2026 Hartfield Road, Spode Lane and vice versa.

 

Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Chiddingstone Hoath. TN8 7BT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Truggers Lane To Grove Road, Chiddingstone Hoath, on or after 19th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Hoath Corner To Oakenden Lane and Truggers Lane.

The alternative route is via Truggers Lane, Hoath Corner, Hoath Corner To Oakenden Lane and vice versa.
