The Isle of Wight Council's Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders

Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (Morton Manor Road, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for three shifts, between Monday 17 March 2025, and Wednesday 19 March 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Morton Manor Road, Brading, between its junctions with Morton Old Road and its junction with Lower Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Drainage works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Hollow Lane, Godshill, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 17 March 2025, and Wednesday 19 March 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Hollow Lane, Godshill, between its junctions with High Street and its junction with Sheepwash Lane. Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1900 hours on Wednesday 19 March 2025 until 0500 hours on Thursday 20 March 2025, or when the works has been completed, Fairlee Road, Newport, will be closed between its junctions with Seaclose, Newport and its junction with Hillside, Newport. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Manor Crescent, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure, Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 and 1700 hours on Tuesday 18 March 2025, or when the works has been completed, Manor Crescent will be closed between its junctions with Furrlongs (southern junction) and a point 70 metres north-west thereof. The alternative route will be signposted locally. During this time the one-way restriction will be revoked over its entire length of Manor Crescent to allow access to premises. There will be a prohibition of waiting along Manor Crescent between its junctions with Furrlongs (southern junction) and a point 70 metres north-west thereof. The restrictions are required for utility works

The Isle of Wight Council (Mill Hill Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1900 hours on Thursday 20 March 2025 until 0500 hours on Friday 21 March 2025, or when the works has been completed, Mill Hill Road will be closed between its junctions with Stephenson Road and St Faiths Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 14 March 2025 and Friday 13 June 2025 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 3 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance and investigation works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway works.
