(A438 Hollybush) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A438 Hollybush from its junction with U61403 Hollybush for a distance of 340 metres in a westerly direction until the boundary with Herefordshire.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: A438 Hollybush (part), B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Castlemorton Common, A4104 Marlbank Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A449 Wells Road into Herefordshire and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days Commencing: 10 March 2025.

(U64219 Burnthorne Lane, Dunley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U64219 Burnthorne Lane from its junction with U10012 Jennings Wood Lane for a distance of 75 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U64219 Burnthorne Lane (part), B4194 Ribbesford Road, A451 Dunley Road, A451 Dunley, U64219 Burnthorne Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 10 March 2025.

(C2237 Lower Howsell Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2237 Lower Howsell Road from its junction with U63463 Marlborough Gardens to its junction with Beech Close (NSG Ref. 24406566).

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing for new development by JLES Group.

Alternative route: C2237 Lower Howsell Road (part), A449 Worcester Road, C2206 Worcester Road (Service Road), C2206 Stocks Lane, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road, C2237 Lower Howsell Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days Commencing: 10 March 2025.

(U61235 Court Street, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U61235 Court St from its junction with A4104 High St to its junction with U61241 School Ln.

Reason: Erecting and dismantling scaffolding by Border Scaffold Service.

Alternative route: U61241 School Ln, U61213 Minge Ln, U61224 Gardens Walk, U61231 Gardens Walk, U612322 Severn Dr and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days continuing from 3 March 2025 (3 March – scaffolding erection and 31 March 2025 – scaffolding dismantling).

(Link Footpath F60147 Whitbourne End, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F60147 Whitbourne End from its junction with U63312 Whitborn End for a distance of 32 metres in a Westerly direction until the Electricity Sub Station.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U63312 Whitborn End, U63311 Whitborn Close, Link Footpath F60148 Whitbourne Close (no. 17), B4211 Guaford Road, U63307 Crown Lea Avenue and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs) Commencing: 31 March 2025.

(U63207 Lansdowne Crescent, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63207 Lansdowne Crescent from its junction with B4211 Barnard’s Green Road for a distance of 50 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: B4211 Barnard’s Green Road, C2206 Madresfield Road, U63207 Lansdowne Crescent (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs) Commencing: 2 April 2025.

(A449 Wells Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Wells Rd from its junction with A4104 Little Malvern to its junction with B4232 Jubilee Dr to Malvern Hills Boundary.

Reason: Mains diversionary works by Cadent Gas.

Alternative route: Into Herefordshire, A438 Hollybush, B4208 Coombe Green, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Gloucester Rd, A4104 Marlbank Rd, A4104 Little Malvern and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 32 days (24hrs) Commencing: 1 April 2025.

(U63514 Lower Quest Hills Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63514 Lower Quest Hills Road from its junction with C2205 Howell Road to its junction with U63512 Quest Hills Road.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U63514 Lower Quest Hills Road (part), U63512 Quest Hill Road, U63514 Lower Quest Hills Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 10 March 2025.

EXEMPTIONS:

TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Sling Lane & Albert Road North, Malvern]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which is to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of roads in Malvern:

• Albert Road North, Malvern (east side): from its junction with Sling Lane for a distance of 24m in a northerly direction and 20m in a southerly direction.
• Sling Lane (south side): from its junction with Albert Road North for a distance of 17.5m in an easterly direction.
• Sling Lane (north side): from its junction with Albert Road North for a distance of 15m in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
