Hopewell Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For New Water Connection Works To New Dwellings

What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

HOPEWELL ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Hopewell Road, outside number 254, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during new water connection works to new dwellings.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 2nd April 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7.30am and 7.30pm, commencing 2nd April 2025 until 4th April 2025.

JAMES RECKITT AVENUE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along James Reckitt Avenue, at the mini roundabout south of Gillshill Road, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works which include the resurfacing and reconstruction of the existing carriageway and roundabout with associated gully and kerb repairs and replacement works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 6th April 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 6.30pm and midnight on 6th April 2025 and 9.30am to 3.30pm on 11th April 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along, Public Right of Way Number 11, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during painting and sealing of high level masonry of building fabric works.

The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.

The Order will take effect on 31st March 2025, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 5 days, from 7.30am to 5pm, between the 31st March 2025 and 30th September 2025.

LEONARD STREET/WELLINGTON LANE/MARGARET STREET/ TERRY STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-

Leonard Street at the junction of Beverley Road;
Wellington Lane at the junction of Beverley Road;
Margaret Street at the junction of Beverley Road; and Terry Street at the junction of Beverley Road, Kingston upon Hull.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.

Access will be maintained for emergency services via the signed diversion.

The Order will come into effect 17th March 2025 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in the following:-

Leonard Street, between 8am and 5pm commencing 17th March 2025 to 4th April 2025; Wellington Lane between 8am and 5pm commencing 31st March 2025 to 24th April 2025; Margaret Street between 8am and 5pm commencing 22nd April 2025 to 6th May 2025; and Terry Street between 8am and 5pm commencing 27th May 2025 to 9th June 2025.
