What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
B41160 LONG STREET, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Ratcliffe Street and Coleshill Street.
Reason for Order: To enable works to replace illuminated signage, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs. In addition, the environmental weight limit on St Georges Road will be temporarily suspended.
Order Commences: 9 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Ratcliffe Street, Ratcliffe Road, St Georges Road, Sheepy Road, Market Street.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
C1 APPLEBY HILL, AUSTREY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction of Main Road to Salt Street.
Reason for Order: Drainage works, removal of detritus and associated works.
Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Austrey Lane, Ashby Road, A444, Orton Hill, Norton Lane, Autrey Lane, Orton Lane and vice versa.

HAMS LANE, CURDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Access to underground structure for cabling work.
Order Commenced: 14 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Unfortunately, these works were delayed but have now been rescheduled to: 18 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Hams Lane, Church Lane, Haunch Lane, Kingsbury Road, Lichfield Road, Newlands Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.
SPON LANE, BRADLEY GREEN, GRENDON
Order Effect: One-way traffic flow will be imposed on Spon Lane, Bradley Green, Grendon between Anker Close and A5 roundabout.
Traffic will be permitted to flow in a northerly direction only.
Reason for Order: Section 278 remedial works.
Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Spon Lane, Grendon Road, Sheepy Road, Atherstone Road, Old Holly Lane, Holly Lane, A5 and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
ROMAN WAY, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair/replace defective frame and cover.
Order Commences: 26 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 27 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: For STW, Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298 599.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COUNTRY PARKS) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE OF INCREASE OF PARKING CHARGES
Notice is hereby given that Warwickshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has resolved to vary the charges for parking within the Council’s Country Parks, as outlined in the Schedule below.
