MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A470, neu gerllaw iddi, yn Llwyn-onn, Merthyr Tudful.

Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o gilfan cerbytffordd tua’r de cefnffordd yr A470 sy’n gyfagos i Gronfa Ddwˆ r Llwyn-onn, tua 775 o fetrau i’r de o’r fynedfa i Ganolfan Ymwelwyr Garwnant.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 10 Mawrth 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol o 00:00 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw ac yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf.

THE A470 TRUNK ROAD (SOUTHBOUND LAYBY ADJACENT TO LLWYN-ON RESERVOIR, MERTHYR TYDFIL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A470 trunk road at Llwyn-on, Merthyr Tydfil.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used for the works, from proceeding on the length of the A470 trunk road southbound layby, adjacent to Llwyn-On Reservoir, approximately 775 metres south of the entrance to Garwnant Visitor Centre.

The Order comes into force on 10 March 2025. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate from 00:00 hours on that date and to remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
