What is happening?

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 The County Of Devon (Temporary Restriction) 

(Horne Park Road, Ilfracombe) Order 2025 Temporary Suspension Of One Way & Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 1/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 7/4/25. The One Way system on the Affected Road will be suspended. 

Roads affected - HORNE PARK ROAD, ILFRACOMBE, (FROM JUNCTION WITH ST BRANNOCKS PARK ROAD TO NEAR HOLLY LODGE) No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected - HORNE PARK ROAD, ILFRACOMBE, (FROM NEAR HOLLY LODGE TO NEAR 12 HORNE PARK ROAD) The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - 

DIVERSION 1: Horne Park Road, Marlborough Road, St Brannocks Park Road, Horne Park Road 

DIVERSION 2: Horne Park Road, Horne Park Avenue, Park Hill Road, St Brannocks Park Road, Horne Park Road 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PROVIDE NEW WATER CONNECTION & CONCRETE DRAINAGE GULLY.

(New Quay Street, Appledore) Order 2025 Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians, Through Traffic & Parking 

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 7/4/25 for a maximum of 18 months. 

Anticipated Finish 31/10/25. No person shall proceed on the sections of Affected Paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths.

No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. 

Roads affected: NEW QUAY STREET, APPLEDORE The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - SOUTH ROAD, TONMOUTH ROAD, PITT HILL, A386, NEW QUAY STREET, & VICE VERSA. 

HGV DIVERSION: HUBBASTONE ROAD, WOODA ROAD, A386, NEW QUAY STREET, & VICE VERSA. 

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: SECTION 278 WORKS.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PROVIDE NEW WATER CONNECTION - 2.6M TAR RD, 0.7M TAR FOOTPATH.
