Belle Isle Drive - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & Parking For Installation Of Below Ground Heat Network Pipes
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14
THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)
(“BELLE ISLE DRIVE” & “CYCLE TRACK OVER TREWS WEIR SUSPENSION BRIDGE”, EXETER) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 24/3/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 31/7/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: “Belle Isle Drive” & “Cycle Track Over Trews Weir Suspension Bridge”, Exeter, [Cycle Track Closure Applies To The Section At Lower Junction Of Belle Isle Drive].
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via -Diversion 1 (Belle Isle Drive): Trews Weir Reach, Topsham Road, Norwood Avenue, Glenwood Rise & Vice Versa.
Diversion 2 (Cycle Track): “Footpath From Colleton Hill To Old Abbey Court”, Weirfield Road, Topsham Road, Salmonpool Lane, “Footpath From Colleton Hill To Old Abbey Court” & Vice Versa.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: INSTALLATION OF BELOW GROUND HEAT NETWORK PIPES.
