PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(NINE ELMS LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Nine Elms Lane in both directions from its junction with Crowther Street to its junction with Stratton Street. Crowther Street also closed in both directions at its junction with Nine Elms Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 11 March 2025 until 13 March 2025.
The diversion route is: Cannock Road, Prosser Street, Swinford Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate two hydrant installations by Severn Trent Water.
