Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Due To Drainage Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: B4216 From C1310 To A417 Ledbury Bypass, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the B4216 From C1310 To A417 Ledbury Bypass, Ledbury, between Highbridge Cottage and Highbridge Farm. Grid Ref. 370693/235618.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4216 onto the A449, onto the B4215, onto the B4216 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to drainage works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of March 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
