(U13606 Briar Hill, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13606 Briar Hill from its junction with C2017 Briar Hill for a distance of 50 metres in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2017 Briar Hill, U13606 Briar Hill (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days

Commencing: 31 March 2025.

(A449 Wolverhampton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Wolverhampton Road from its junction with A451 Stourbridge Road for a distance of 4160 metres in a northerly direction until the boundary with Staffordshire.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: A451 Stourbridge Road into Staffordshire and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00 – 06:00) between 31 March 2025 and 11 April 2025.

(C2128 Kinver Road, Caunsall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2128 Kinver Road from its junction with C2013 Caunsal Road to its junction with C2019 Gipsy Lane.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: C2013 Caunsal Road, A449 Wolverhampton Road, into Staffordshire and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 28 March 2025 and 11 April 2025.

(U10007 Bine Lane, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U10007 Bine Lane from its junction with U10006 Bliss Gate Road to its junction with C2021 Heightington Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: U10006 Bliss Gate Road, C2021 Bliss Gate Road, C2021 Heightington Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 31 March 2025 and 14 April 2025.

(U10006 Cross Bank/U10006 Blissgate Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U10006 Cross Bank from its junction with C2194 Lye Head Road to its junction with U10007 Bine Lane. Closure 2 – U10006 Blissgate Road from its junction with U10007 Bine Lane for a distance of 2021 Blissgate Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: C2194 Lye Head Road, A456 Callow Hill, C2021 Blissgate Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 31 March 2025 and 14 April 2025.

(U12135 Castle Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U12135 Castle Rd from its junction with U12147 New Rd to its junction with U12145 Park Ln.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent.

Alternative route: U12135 Castle Rd (part), U12145 Park Ln, A451 Stourport Rd, U12147 New Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-06:00) Commencing: 31 March 2025.

(C2126 Churchill Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2126 Churchill Lane from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road to its junction with U13407 Wannerton Road.

Reason: Electricity cable replacement by Western Power Distribution.

Alternative route: C2126 Churchill Lane (part), C2061 Rocky Lane, A451 Stourbridge Road, A449 Stourbridge Road, A449 Stourbridge Road North, A456 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs) Commencing: 10 March 2025.

(U11348 Resolution Way, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U11348 Resolution Way from its junction with U11306 Discovery Road to its junction with U11307 Power Station Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: U11306 Discovery Road, A4025 Worcester Road, U11307 Power Station Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 19 March 2025 and 2 April 2025.

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: A448 Lodge Ford Hill – from its junction with C2082 Fox Lane to its junction with C2018 Clattercut Lane. Closure 2: Fox Lane – from its junction with A448 Lodge Ford Hill for a distance of 100 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Carriageway/footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route:

• Closure 1 Diversion: A448 Lodge Ford Hill, A448 Kidderminster Road, A448 St. John Street, A448 The Strand, A448 Stratford Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Lickey End Roundabout, A38 Birmingham Road, A38 Halesowen Road, A38 Lydiate Ash Roundabout, A491 Sandy Lane, A491 Stourbridge Road, A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Kidderminster Road South, A456 Birmingham Road, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Road, A448 Stone Hill, A448 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.
• Closure 2 Diversion: C2082 Fox Lane – C2082 Fox Lane, U13610 Dibbles Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road and vice versa.

  Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 23 nights (19:00–05:00) Commencing: 10 March 2025.

Order made: To close that part of U13601 Egg Lane from its junction with A450 Worcester Road to its junction with C2017 Drayton Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: C2017 Drayton Road, U13605 Woodrow Lane, C2185 Woodrow Lane, A450 Worcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 11 March 2025 and 26 March 2024.

Order made: To close that part of C2017 Drayton Road from its junction with U13601 Egg Lane to its junction with B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane, A450 Worcester Road, C2185 Woodrow Lane, U13605 Woodrow Lane, C2017 Drayton Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 7 March 2025 and 24 March 2025.

To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other means of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025

(Prohibition of Waiting on Humphries Drive & Mill Lane, Kidderminster)

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at all times on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:

• Humphries Drive, Kidderminster (northeast side): From its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 10m in a south easterly direction.
• Humphries Drive, Kidderminster (southwest side): From a point opposite its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 21m in a south easterly direction and 14.6m in a north westerly direction.
• Mill Lane, Kidderminster (southeast side): From its junction with Humphries Drive for a distance of 15.5m in a north easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
