Order made: To close that part of C2236 Wichenford from its junction with C2068 Wichenford to its junction with U64614 Poplar Road.

(U60012 Bestmans Lane, Kempsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60012 Bestmans Ln from its junction with A38 Main Rd for a distance of 360 meters in an easterly direction.

• Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation work by WCC.
• Alternative route: U60012 Bestmans Ln (part), U60002 Napleton Ln, U60034 Napleton Ln, A38 Main Rd and vice versa.
• Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 4 days Commencing: 1 April 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

On 20 February 2025, Worcestershire County Council made an Order to:

Prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

• Lambert Road (North side): From its junction with Bozward Street for a distance of 5 meters in both easterly and westerly directions.
• Bozward Street (Both sides): From its junction with Lambert Road for a distance of 5 meters in a northerly direction.

• Lambert Road (North side): From a point 12 meters west of its junction with Comer Road for a distance of 15 meters in a westerly direction.

• Lambert Road (North side): From its junction with Bozward Street for a distance of 5 meters in an easterly direction.
• Revocation of Limited Waiting: 45 mins No Return Within 2 Hours (Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm)
• Lambert Road (North side): From a point 12 meters west of its junction with Comer Road for a distance of 15 meters in a westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

• Williamson Road (West side): From a point 80 meters south of its junction with Newtown Road for a distance of 51 meters in a south-westerly direction.
