The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No. 2) (Wimborne Road East, Ferndown) Order 2025
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
- When the Order comes into operation on 14th March 2025 the effect of the Order is to revoke a section of limited waiting bays outside number 512 and 514 on Wimborne Road East, Ferndown and introduce a loading bay between the hours of 8am until 11am, Monday to Saturday.

- Concerns relating to the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose.

Temporary Northbound Closure of Ringwood Road, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Ringwood Road, Ferndown northbound between Wimborne Road and Church Road as indicated by signage on site. The order is needed in order to carry out carriageway surfacing works which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30 March 2025 and is anticipated to be in effect for two weeks, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2nd May 2025. Access northbound will be maintained via Ham Lane, Dunnoon Double Mini Roundabout to the junction with Glenmoor Road only.
This Order will enable SGN to carry out gas main replacement works.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: B3073 Ham Lane - A31 - Ringwood Road

Dorset Council, County Hall, Dorchester DT1 1XJ. Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Holt
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Holt as listed: i) Whitemoor, Holt between Broom House and Sheepcroft Lane; ii) White Sheet, Holt between Sheepcroft Lane and Whitemoor House. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, and require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 31st March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11th April 2025.
This Order will enable Wessex Internet, safe access to carry out fibre cable installation works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
