What is happening?

The Council of the City of Manchester proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The titles and effects of the Orders will be as follows:

1. CITY OF MANCHESTER (MOSS HEY DRIVE, HOLLYHEY DRIVE AND STUDY CLOSE, NORTHENDEN) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025 To introduce No Waiting at Any Time on: (i) Hollyhey Drive, both sides from and including its southern cul-de-sac end in a northerly direction for a distance of 5 metres (ii) Moss Hey Drive, both sides from its junction with Sale Road in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 33 metres; and (iii) Study Close, both sides from and including its cul-de-sac end in a westerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.

2. CITY OF MANCHESTER (MOSS HEY DRIVE AREA, NORTHENDEN) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2025 To introduce a 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE to include the full lengths of the following roads: Graduate Drive; Moss Hey Drive; Rollins Close; Stage Street; Study Close.

3. CITY OF MANCHESTER (HOLLYHEY DRIVE) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING EXCEPT FOR CYCLES) ORDER 2025 - Prohibition of Driving (except cycles): Hollyhey Drive, from its cul-de-sac end in a southerly direction for a distance of 5 metres.

An existing Order will be amended to be consistent with proposals. Copies of the proposed Orders together with a plan showing the proposals, the Statement of Reasons and a copy of the Order it is proposed to amend may be inspected at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat.Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive.

Any objections to the proposals must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below, stating the Order to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made, no later than 31 March 2025.
