ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BEARLEY ROAD, SNITTERFIELD Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works for new electricity supply. Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 13 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Bearley Road, The Square, School Road, Wolverton Road, Salters Lane, Langley Road, Edstone, Bearley Cross, Birmingham Road, Snitterfield Road and vice versa. BRIDGE ROAD, BUTLERS MARSTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works access for pole testing, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs. Order Commences: 11 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 11 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Bridge Road, Kineton Road, The Green, Tysoe Road, Oxhill Road, Pillerton Hersey Road, Banbury Road, Kiblers Lane, The Acre, Halford Road, Pillerton Road and vice versa. BEAR LANE, HENLEY-IN-ARDEN Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to remove water hydrant and install new connection. Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 28 March 2025. Access & Diversion: No diversion available. Contractor: RNR Traffic Management, Tel: 07852 380 338.
HATTON BANK LANE, HAMPTON LUCY Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To safely enable works for washout in-line installation. Order Commences: 9 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 9 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Hatton Bank Lane, Snitterfield Road, Snitterfield Street, Bridge Street, Vine Cottages, Church Street, Stratford Road and vice versa. SMITHS LANE, SNITTERFIELD Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To safely enable repairs to sunken manhole. Order Commences: 12 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 12 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Smiths Lane, Church Road, Snitterfield Lane, Pigeon Green, Main Street, Wolverton Road, Wolverton Fields, Saddlebow Lane, School Road, The Square and vice versa. KINGTON LANE, CLAVERDON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable tree trimming works. Order Commences: 11 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 11 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Kington Lane, Kington Road, Langley Road, The Green, Henley Road and vice versa. Contractor: Go TM Ltd, Tel: 08005 783 105.
PUBLIC FOOTPATHS SD41 IN THE PARISH OF LOWER QUINTON Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic at grid reference SP17816-47326. Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public because of dangerous condition of bridge along its route. Order Commences: 11 March 2025 for up to 6 months. Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
ALCESTER ROAD, LITTLE ALNE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Whitehouse Hill and Henley Road. Reason for Order: To enable works for renewal of water pipe. Order Commences: 24 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 27 March 2025. Access & Diversion: Alcester Road, Wootton Rise, Stratford Road, New Road, Henley Road, Hunger Hill, Oldberrow Lane, Oldberrow Road, Redditch Road, Birmingham Road, Priory Square, Haydon Way, Coughton Hill, Willoughby Close, Arden Road, Tything Road West, Kinwarton Farm Road, Kinwarton Road, Captains Hill, School Road, Village Road, Alne End and vice versa. NEW ROAD, LOWSONFORD Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To safely enable works to defective manhole cover. Order Commences: 25 March 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 25 March 2025. Access & Diversion: New Road, Preston Road, Henley Road, Warwick Road, Whitley Hill, Blackford Hill, High Street, Birmingham Road, Liveridge Hill, Bushwood Lane, Lapworth Street and vice versa. For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible. THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (COUNTRY PARKS) (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024 NOTICE OF INCREASE OF PARKING CHARGES Notice is hereby given that Warwickshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has resolved to vary the charges for parking within the Council’s Country Parks, as outlined in the Schedule below.
