A52 Trunk Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic And Suspension of Bus/Cycle Lane For Camera Calibration Works
What is happening?

THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (BRAMCOTE TO BEESTON, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND SUSPENSION OF BUS/CYCLE LANE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an Order on the A52 Trunk Road, between Bramcote and Beeston in the County of Nottinghamshire, to enable camera calibration works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to –
(1) close any gap in the central reservation of the A52 between its roundabout junction with the B5010 Derby Road, the A6007 Ilkeston Road and Town Street (Bramcote Roundabout), at Bramcote and its roundabout junction with Wollaton Vale and the A6464 Woodside Road (Priory Roundabout), at Beeston; and
(2) temporarily suspend the bus/cycle lane on the length of the A52 described in (1) above.
The work will be carried out overnight between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours and is expected to start on Tuesday 18 March 2025 and continue for two nights.
The Order will come into force on 11 March 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures.
Diversion routes via Bramcote Roundabout and Priory Roundabout will be signed.
