What is happening?

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BA27/27, WITHIES GREEN, KEYNSHAM) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025
The above order was made on 27 February 2025. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath running from ST66836780 and continuing in a generally ESE direction for approx 171m to ST66986774, to a line running from ST66836780 and proceeding in a generally ESE direction for approx 80m to ST66906776, and then turning in a generally NNE direction for approx 8m to ST66906777, and then turning in a generally ESE direction for approx 73m to ST66966773, and then turning in a generally NNE direction for approx 14m to ST66976774, and then turning in a generally ESE direction for approx 19m to ST66986774, as shown on the order map.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Public Rights of Way Team, Bath and North East Somerset Council, Lewis House, Manvers Street, Bath, BA1 1JG or by email to PROW@bathnes.gov.uk not later than 3 April 2025. Please state the grounds on which it is made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it will become available for public inspection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Bath and North East Somerset Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
