Wild Street - Extend The Single Yellow Line Waiting Restrictions

What is happening?

CITY OF WESTMINSTER
WILD STREET
THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (G ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be, in connection with the London Borough of Camden’s delivery of the Holborn Liveable Neighbourhood Project which affects Keeley Street and the north side of Wild Street, to:

(a) relocate the motorcycle parking place outside Nos. 1 to 24, Block L, Peabody Buildings and No. 8a Wild Street, westward by 5.3 metres (replacing single yellow line waiting restrictions);
(b) relocate the residents’ parking place outside Nos. 1 to 24, Block L and M, Peabody Buildings westward by 5.3 metres and extend it by 1 metre;
(c) shorten the residents’ parking place outside Nos. 1 to 24, Block M and N, Peabody Buildings, by 1 metre at its western end; and
(d) extend the single yellow line waiting restrictions outside Nos. 1 to 24, Block L, Peabody Buildings westward by 4.3 metres and eastward by 1 metre.

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at http://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, WSP House, 70 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1AF, or by email at tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8125/ND, by 26th March 2025. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
