PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CHURCH STREET, BILSTON NORTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Church Street in both directions between its junctions with Greencroft and Crown Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 19:00 on 16 March 2025 until 06:00 on
7 March 2025.
The diversion route is: Lichfield Street, Oxford Street,
Black Country Route, Coseley Road, High Street and vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate washout rebuild chamber
works by Severn Trent Water.
