C366 BOOTHS ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Ashington in the County of Northumberland.
A197 Morpeth Road from its junction with Rotary Parkway Roundabout heading northwest for a length of 225 metres.
A197 Morpeth Road from its point 180 metres west of its junction with Maxwells DIY Roundabout heading east for a length of 230 metres.
A197 Rotary Parkway from its point 134 metres east of Rotary Parkway Roundabout heading west of a length of 170 metres.
A197 Rotary Parkway from its junction with Rotary Parkway Roundabout heading east for a length of 157 metres.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A197 Morpeth Road, A1068 A189, A197 Rotary Parkway Ashington. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
C399 Booths Road from its junction with Rotary Parkway Roundabout heading south for a length of 65 metres..
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A197 Morpeth Road, High Market, Booths Road, Station Road, Duke Street, A197 Rotary Parkway Ashington. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes and where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
The Order is to be effective from the 11th March 2025 until the 20th September 2025.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 11th March 2025 until the 26th March 2025 (excluding Sunday nights) between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th September 2025

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing and civil works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
