What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A3400 OXFORD ROAD, LONG COMPTON
Order Effect: Road closed between Old Road and Rollright Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, 09.30hrs15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 10 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: A3400, A44, A429, A3400 and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
BURYWAY LANE, LONG COMPTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to lay duct, build joint boxes and clear potential blockages.
Order Commences: 14 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Buryway Lane, Crockwell Street, Main Street and vice versa.

BUTLERS LANE, LONG COMPTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to lay new duct and clear blockages.
Order Commences: 11 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Back Lane, Broad Street, Main Street and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BARRATS HILL, WHICHFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from the junction with Main Street to the junction with Long Compton Road.
Reason for Order: To enable works to locate & clear blockages.
Order Commences: 24 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: The Green, Hook Norton Road, Francis Leys Hill, Whichford Hill, Rollright Road, Oxford Road, Main Street, Harrow Hill, Long Compton Road and vice versa.

C111 MOLLINGTON LANE, WARMINGTON & C114 MOLLINGTON LANE, SHOTTESWELL
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows:
Mollington Lane, Warmington – Closed from its junction with Village Road to the County Boundary (March Road north) on the 22 March 2025, Mollington Lane, Shotteswell – Closed from the County Boundary (March Road south) to
the entrance to the sewage works on the 25 March 2025.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 22 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: C111 Mollington Lane, Warmington:
March Road, Mollington Lane, Mollington Road, First Turn, B4100 Banbury Road, Village Road and vice versa. C114 Mollington Lane, Shotteswell: Mollington Lane, Mollington Road, First Turn, B4100 Banbury Road, Village Road, Mollington Lane, March Road and vice versa.

LONG COMPTON ROAD, WHICHFORD
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to locate & clear duct blockages.
Order Commences: 27 March 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 31 March 2025.
Access & Diversion: Long Compton Road, Barrats Hill, The Green, Hook Norton Road, Francis Leys Hill, Whichford Hill, Rollright Road, Oxford Road, Main Street, Harrow Hill and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
