What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

FRASERBURGH - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

“The Aberdeenshire Council (Broad Street, Fraserburgh – 10.03.25) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2025” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The order will operate from 10.03.25 for 15 days and will prohibit any person from driving on Broad Street, Fraserburgh from High Street to Mid Street.

Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.

The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during works for a gas company. An alternative route is available via Cross Street and Mid Street and Kirk Brae, Shore Street, Dalrymple Street, Station Brae, Seaforth Street and Broad Street.
