Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (Back Road East, St Ives) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives. 

This prohibition is necessary for works to repair water supply pipe and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd April 2025 to 4th April 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Back Road East, St Ives between No 93 and No 95.

The County of Cornwall (Bread Street, Penzance) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penzance. 

This prohibition is necessary for repairs to defective reinstatement and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th March 2025 to 21st March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Bread Street, Penzance from junction with High Street to junction with Causewayhead.

The County of Cornwall (Fish Street, Back Road, Back Road West and St Peters Street, St Ives) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Ives. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling and desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 31st March 2025 to 1st April 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2000 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Fish Street, between the junctions with The Wharf and Access to Sloop Car Park, Back Road between the junctions with Fish Street and Back Road West, Back Road West between the junctions with Porthmeor Road and Norway Lane and St Peters Street for its entire length, St Ives.

Cornwall Council 
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 20th October 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 14, Parish of Marazion between grid references SW 52767:30404 and SW 52926:30097. 

The Order which commenced on the 21st October 2023 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 30th March 2027. 

The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 28th February 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to an unstable cliff. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

The County of Cornwall (Helnoweth Hill, Gulval) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gulval. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th March 2025 to 20th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Helnoweth Hill, Gulval from junction with Access To Helnoweth Farm to close to Trelander House.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Ives.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Penbeagle Crescent, St Ives from junction with Penbeagle Lane to junction with Corva Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Goldsithney. 

This prohibition is necessary for works to investigate depression in Highway and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th March 2025 to 21st March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Perran Downs Lane, Perran Downs, Goldsithney between the junctions with Trescowe Road and Grove Lane.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 31st March 2025 to 1st April 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1630, weekdays only. Roads affected - B3280 Between Relubbus Lane And Fore Street, Relubbus Lane, St Hilary from Rosemere Cottage to junction with New Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Erth. 

This prohibition is necessary for detailed bridge inspection works on behalf of Network Rail and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th March 2025 to 20th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0500, weekdays only. Road affected - Station Approach, St Erth between grid references SW 54085 35715 and SW 54114 35652.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Townshend. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th April 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Tregembo Hill, Relubbus and Bosence Road, Townshend for their entire lengths and Road From Bosence Road To Pauls Green, Townshend between the junctions of Bosence Road and Bunkers Hill.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd March 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Penzance. 

This prohibition is necessary for retexturing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th March 2025 to 21st March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Treweath Road from the A30 roundabout for approximately 180 metres, Polmeere Road from Colinsey Road junction to Polweath Road junction, Penzance An alternative route will be signed on site.
