THE A64 TRUNK ROAD
(LAYBYS FROM BRAMHAM CROSSROADS TO EASTFIELD ROUNDABOUT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A64 Trunk Road, in North Yorkshire, to enable grass cutting, sign cleaning, gully emptying and sweeping works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Tuesday 1 April 2025 for 12 months and take place between 9am and 8pm and for any subsequent days until the said works have been completed.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at times during the works, the laybys adjacent to the A64 eastbound and westbound from Bramham Crossroads to Eastfield Roundabout, a distance of 84800 metres.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 31 March 2025 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
