(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce restrictions on roads in Worthing as follows:
Phase One: 24 March 2025 to 4 May 2025
To temporarily close Chapel Road to southbound traffic between its junctions with Richmond Road and Union Place;
To temporarily close Union Place at its junction with Chapel Road; To temporarily reverse the one-way restriction on Liverpool Road.
Phase Two: 5 May 2025 to 16 June 2025
To Temporarily close Chapel Road to southbound traffic from its junction with North Street to its junction with Richmond Road These restrictions are needed to allow pipework for the Worthing Heat project to be installed in safety.
The Order will come into effect on the dates specified above. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Angmering: Station Road Amendment) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time (introduce double yellow lines) throughout both sides of Station Road in Angmering, from its junction with the A259, southwards to the double white carriageway centre lines at the railway level crossing.
Full details of the proposals in this notice can be viewed on the Traffic Regulation Order page of the WSCC website. The website includes a response form for any comments or objections.
People without access to a computer who wish to view details of the scheme should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive the documents by post.
