CHURCH LANE PAVENHAM 24 – 133

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency,from proceeding along the length of Church Lane Pavenham.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway repairs and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:30 to 15:00 hours from 18th March 2025 to 20th March 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Hunts Lane, Carlton Road, Felmersham Road, Pavenham Road, High Street, Church Lane.

The reverse route applies.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Robins Folly, Thurleigh.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate installation of drainage pipes across the carriageway and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 17th March 2025 to 4th April 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Mill Road, Mill Hill, High Street.

The reverse route applies.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sandy Road, Barford Road, Station Road, Bedford Road, and Wood Lane Willington.

These temporary road closures are required to facilitate surfacing carriageway and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

These temporary road closures are anticipated to be in operation 21:00 to 05:00 hours from 17th March 2025 to 21st March 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Castle Lane, Bedford rear of 15 High Street Bedford .

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate the installation of air conditioning units on roof the and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 20:00 to 05:00 hours 17th March 2025 1 night only or 20:00 - 05:00 24th March 2025 1 night only (back up date)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Kingswood Way, Great Denham. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate carriageway resurfacing and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 20:00 to 06:00 hours from 21st March 2025 to 5th April 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via The Branston Way, King Alfred Way, Anglia Way, Saxon Way, Kingswood Way.

The reverse route applies.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street, Sharnbrook from Loring Road to 115 High Street.

This temporary road closure is required to facilitate H V cable install and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 22nd March 2025 to 23rd March 2025

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Colworth Road, Lodge Road, Church Lane, High Street.

The reverse route applies.

BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL
(RAVENSDEN: PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 49 and 50)
 PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order made on 11 February 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert:

i.  That part of Public Footpath numbered 49 in the Parish of Ravensden in the environs of “Traylesfield Farm”, Traylesfield Farm Lane, Ravensden commencing from a point where it has a junction with the unaffected part of Footpath 49 approximately 131 metres north-west of the residential property known as “Traylesfield Farm” Ravensden at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0500/5559 and running in a southern direction and then continuing in a generally south-west direction for approximately 36 metres and then in a generally south direction for approximately 37 metres to OSGR TL 0501/5549 to a point commencing approximately 131 metres northwest from the residential dwelling known as “Traylesfield Farm” Ravensden Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0500/5559 then running in a generally north- eastern direction for approximately 212 metres where it connects to the second diverted part of Footpath 49 Ravensden at OSGR TL 0520/5564.

ii.  That part of Public Footpath numbered 49 in the Parish of Ravensden in the environs of “Traylesfield Farm” commencing approximately 111 metres north-west of the property known as “Traylesfield Farm” at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0500/5557 then running in a generally south-east for approximately 89 metres and then running in a generally north-east direction for approximately 157 metres to a point where it connects with the unaffected part of Footpath 49 at OSGR TL 0552/5553 to a point commencing approximately 165 metres north-east from the residential dwelling known as “Traylesfield Farm” Ravensden at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0522/5553 and running in a generally northern direction for approximately 116 metres where it connects to the first diverted section of part of Footpath 49 at OSGR TL 0520/5564. iii.  That part of Public Footpath numbered 50 in the Parish of Ravensden in the environs of “Traylesfield Farm” commencing approximately 25 metres north of the property known as “Traylesfield Farm” at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0506/5550 and running in a generally south-west direction for approximately 54 metres and then in a generally north-west direction for approximately 141 metres and then in a northern direction for approximately 10 metres where it connects with the unaffected part of Footpath 50 at OSGR 0486/5559 to a point commencing approximately 131 metres north-west from the residential dwelling known as “Traylesfield Farm” Ravensden at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) TL 0500/5559 then running in a generally south-western direction for approximately 154 metres where it connects to the unaffected part of Footpath 50 Ravensden at OSGR 0486/5559.

A copy of the Order and Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford by appointment from 10am to 4pm on Weekdays (Bank and Public Holidays excepted). They may be sent by email: RightsofWay@bedford.gov.uk or post, to be received no later than 04 April 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn Bedford Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
