Laund Close - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
LAUND CLOSE, BELPER
WHEN: 21 March 2025 (08:00 to 17:00).
WHERE: Laund Close, Belper between its jct. with Far Laund and its jct. with Coronation Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of Severn Trent Water Apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Laund Close, Cherry Tree Avenue, Appleton Drive, Far Laund and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
