Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrian Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Footway Off Ivy Road to Side of No 71 Countess, Macclesfield
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians.
Prohibition of pedestrians – FW off Ivy Road to side No. 71 Countess, Macclesfield – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Ivy Road, Earlsway, Countess Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 3 March 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 13 March 2025.

Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic – Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Moss Brow, Bollington
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Moss Brow, Bollington – From the junction with Bollington Road to the junction with Albert Road.
The alternative route will be via Albert Road, Wellington Road, Henshall Road, Bollington Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 17 March 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 28 March 2025.

Prohibition of traffic – Newton Street, Macclesfield – From the junction of Crossall Street to the junction of Hatton Street.
The alternative route will be via Hatton Street, Bond Street, Crossall Street and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Tuesday 22 April 2025 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 2 May 2025.
