PUBLIC NOTICE
LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003

(Station Road and The Drive, Orpington)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order would be to convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 7am and 7pm on Monday to Friday inclusive to operating at any time as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/T777 not later than 26th March 2025.
Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
SCHEDULE:
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:
STATION ROAD, Orpington: (a) both sides, (i) from a point 28m west of the western kerbline of The Drive to a point 10m north east of the north eastern kerbline of The Drive.
THE DRIVE, Orpington: (a) both sides, (i) from the southern kerbline of Station Road southwards for a distance of 10m.
