What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE U6500 FITZROY STREET, NEWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6500 Fitzroy Street, Newmarket from the junction with Lowther Street for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate excavation and repairs to manhole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Fitzroy Street, Rowley Drive, Black Bear Lane, Fitzroy Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 05/03/2025 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF
THE U1220 ROSE LANE AND BOYSCOTT LANE, BUNGAY
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
The U1220 Rose Lane, Bungay
The U1220 Boyscott Lane, Bungay.
This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be B1435 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 14/03/2025 - 19/03/2025 from 8am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C433 LOWER ROAD, ONEHOUSE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C433 Lower Road, Onehouse from North Lodge for 60 metres eastbound to facilitate telephone pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Heron Hill, the B1115, Bury Road Hitcham, Bury Road Brettenham, Chapel Hill, Bury Road Thorpe Morieux, Cockfield Road, Church Road, Lower Green, Rattlesden Road, Felsham Road, High Street, Stowmarket Road, Fen Street, Lower Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/03/2025 from 9.30am - 2.30pm, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3625
DRYBRIDGE HILL AND SECKFORD STREET, WOODBRIDGE
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
The U3625 Drybridge Hill, Woodbridge
The U3625 Seckford Street, Woodbridge from Drybridge Hill to Queens Head Lane.
This is to facilitate the parking of plant and equipment during carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bullards Lane, Naunton Road, the B1079, Market Hill, Seckford Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 05/03/2025 - 06/03/2025 from 8am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 5, WEST STOW
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 5, West Stow for safety reasons due to a collapsed river bank. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
There is no alternative route.
This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 13/02/2025.
It is intended that the closure will operate until 13/08/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister).
