(Footpath 50, Hazel Grove And Bramhall) (Temporary Closure) Notice 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which introduced a Temporary Footpath Closure at Footpath 50, Hazel Grove and Bramhall for the entire length of the footpath between Bramhall Park Road and Footpath 51, Hazel Grove and Bramhall, whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said footpath. 

This Order is necessary to allow for works to take place. 

A diversion will be provided via the Western end of footpath 50 HGB north on footpath 51 HGB to Linney Rd, then east to Bramhall Park Rd and then south to the Eastern end of footpath 50HGB and vice versa. 

This Order will come into operation on the 27 February 2025 and will have effect for six months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Ref: AP/6957990
