What is happening?
SECTION 77 OF THE SCHOOL STANDARDS AND FRAMEWORK ACT 1998 AS AMENDED BY SCHEDULE 4 TO THE EDUCATION AND INSPECTIONS ACT 2006
PLAYING FIELD LAND AT TRIMDON BLUEBELL MEADOW FORMER INFANT SCHOOL, ROPERS TERRACE, TRIMDON GRANGE, TS29 6EY
The Secretary of State has directed that the general community should be consulted about any proposed disposal of playing field land, as defined in the above legislation.
Durham County Council intends to dispose of 2.031 acres of land, or thereabouts at Trimdon Bluebell Meadow Former Infant School which comprises of a former school building and playing field land.
Any person who wishes to make representation regarding the change of use of this land should do so, in writing, to Corporate Property and Land, Resources, Corten House, Aykley Heads Business Park, Durham Trinity School Road, Aykley Heads, Durham, DH1 5TS or by email to CPALPropertyManagement@Durham.gov.uk by Monday 14th April 2025.
