What is happening?

North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Road Leading to Tunstall - Brough with St Giles, Order 2025, No. 47

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using an approximate 100 metres length of this road leading southwards from its junction with the A6136 Catterick Road for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 03/03/25 & 17/04/25, due to works to construct a roundabout at the junction. However, the max duration of this Order is until 28/11 /25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Eldmire Lane to Eldmire Moor Road, Eldmire for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 18/03/25 until 19/03/25 & 13/05/25 until 14/05/25, due to works to the adjacent factory premises. However, the max duration of this Order is from 18/03/25 until 31/05/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 10.36/1/1, Dalton, Order 2025 No 70

We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath, 10.36/1/1 in the Parish of Dalton, between grid reference SE43077714 & SE43107845 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 05/03/25 & 11/08/25, due to an unsafe footbridge. This Order follows Emergency Notice No 47. The closure period will be indicated by the placing of traffic signs.
