Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

On 5 March 2025 Surrey County Council made the above- mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Upshot Lane (B367) Woking which extends from its junction with Pyrford Common Road (D3739) for 100m in a northeastwards direction.

Alternative Route – Upshot Lane (B367), Coldharbour Road (B367), Oakcroft Road (B367), Old Woking Road (A245), Old Woking Road (B382) and Pyrford Common Road (D3739) or the same route in reverse.

This Order is required to allow Road Traffic Management Ltd to carry out replacing telegraph pole, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 March 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Robin Hood Lane (D307) Sutton Green which extends from the northern property boundary of “Sackleford” southwards for a distance of 150m. This Order is required to enable UK Power Networks to facilitate underground cabling works and any other associated electrical works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 9am and 5pm within the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 24 March 2023. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Due to the nature of the works, access for emergency vehicles will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route Robin Hood Lane, Sutton Green Road, New Lane and Robin Hood Lane or vice versa.
