What is happening?

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Chapel Road, Ford) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chapel Road for approx.167M. The closure is required whilst an inspection of the bridge commences on 21 March 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 21 March 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
Public Footpath No.3, Parish of Stoke Mandeville (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No.3, Stoke Mandeville, from the junction of Public Footpath No.2, Stoke Mandeville, north west for approx. 631M to the junction with the Hospital. The closure is required to allow for works to proceed in connection with the approved South East Aylesbury Link Road. The alternative is from hospital closure point: 396M west along SMA/3/1 to junction with B4443, 625M southeast along B4443, 225M east along SMA/2/1, West to lower road to pick up existing footpath Lower Road. The Order will come into operation on 27th February 2025, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No.1 (Part) Parish of Kingsbrook) Public Path Diversion 2024 On 24 February 2025, Buckinghamshire Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the public footpath running from SP84397-14576 SSE for 274M to SP8460814264 as shown by a bold continuous line on the Order map, to a line running from SP84397-14576 WSW for 34M to SP84369-14557, then SSE for 33M to SP84383-14528 as shown by a bold broken line and having a width of 1.8M between SP84397-14576 and SP84369-14557 and 2M between SP84369-14557 and SP84383-14528, and from SP84390-14506 SSE for 4m to SP84393-14502, then ENE for 8M to SP84400-14507, then SE for 42M to SP84437-14497, then SSE for 15M to SP84446-14485, then WSW for 4M to SP84442-14483, then SSE for 116M to SP84504-14384, then NE for 120M to SP84580-14474, then ENE for 19M to SP8459714476, then SSE for 91M to SP84628-14392, then SSW for 18M to SP84615-14381, then SSE for 40m to SP84627-14342, then SSW for 81M to SP84608-14264 as shown by a bold broken line and having a width of 2M throughout. The Order came into force on 3 March 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 5 March 2025, make an application to the High Court.
