WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2260 Madresfield Road/U63334 Sherrards Green Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 - C2260 Madresfield Road from its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road to its junction with U63304 Pound Bank Road. Closure 2 - U63334 Sherrards Green Road from its junction with C2260 Madresfield Road to its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road.

Reason: Pre surface dressing patching by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion (General Traffic) - C2260 Madresfield Road (part), C2102 Madresfield, C2102 Chance Lane, B4211 Guarlford Road, B4211 Barnards Green, B4208 Pickersleigh Road and vice versa. Diversion (Local Traffic) - U63304 Pound Bank Road, U63304 Upper Chase Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days Commencing: 25 March 2025.

(C2237 Lower Howsell Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2237 Lower Howsell Road from its junction with B4503 Lower Interfields to its junction with U63469 Howsells.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion Westbound - B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Newtown Road, A449 Worcester Road, C2237 Lower Howsell Road (part). Diversion Eastbound - C2237 Lower Howsell Road (part), A449 Worcester Road, C2206 Stocks Lane, A4103 Leigh Sinton, B4503 Malvern Road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 24 March 2025 and 18 April 2025.

(U63313 Wykewane, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63313 Wykewane from its junction with U63317 Hastings Road for a distance of 65 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.Alternative route: U63317 Hastings Road, U63310 Eston Avenue, U63313 Wykewane (part) and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 24 March 2025.

(U95207 Broadheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U95207 Broadheath from its junction with B4204 Broadheath to its junction with U95404 Bell Ln.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: U95207 Broadheath (part), B4204 Broadheath, U95404 Bell Ln, U95207 Broadheath (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 24 March 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bridleway MV-769 and Footpath MV-717, Malvern) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Proposed Order: To close Bridleway MV-769 and Footpath MV-717, Malvern for their entire length. The Order has been made to facilitate works on the carriageway and associated furniture.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: (clockwise) B4208 Poolbrook Rd, U63000 Peachfield Rd, U63110 St Andrews Rd and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 24 March 2025.
