MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU Cymru yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn. Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig am fod perygl tebygol i’r cyhoedd oherwydd problemau a’r rhwyst r diogelwch ar gefnffordd yr A483 i’r gogledd o Aber-miwl ac yn Nolfor a chefnffordd yr A44 i’r gorllewin o Langurig, Powys.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder 30 mya dros dro ar y darnau o gefnffordd yr A483 a chefnffordd yr A44 a ddisgrifir yn yr Atodlen i’r Hysbysiad hwn. Ni chaniateir i gerbydau oddiweddyd tra bo’r terfyn cyflymder is mewn grym.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18 Mawrth 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiad dros dro yn weithredol o 08:00 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw ac yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf.

• Y darn o gefnffordd yr A483 ger Glanhafren, i’r gogledd o Aber-miwl sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 453 o fetrau i’r de o’i chyffordd â’r U2636 hyd at bwynt 426 o fetrau i’r gogledd o’r gyffordd honno.
• Y darn o gefnffordd yr A483 i’r de o Dolfor sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 25 o fetrau i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’i chyffordd â’r fynedfa i’r eiddo o’r enw Caelydan hyd at y terfyn cyflymder 30 mya parhaol presennol ym man deheuol Dolfor.
• Y darn o gefnffordd yr A44 sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 433 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd â’r fynedfa i’r eiddo o’r enw Pengwaith, i’r gorllewin o Langurig hyd at bwynt 641 o fetrau i’r gorllewin o’r gyffordd honno.

THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (GLANHAFREN, NORTH OF ABERMULE AND DOLFOR, POWYS) & THE A44 TRUNK ROAD (WEST OF LLANGURIG, POWYS) (TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT & NO OVERTAKING) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary due to the likelihood of danger to the public because of issues with the safety barrier on the A483 trunk road to the north of Abermule and at Dolfor and the A44 trunk road west of Llangurig, Powys.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on the lengths of the A483 and A44 trunk roads described in the Schedule to this Notice. Vehicles will not be permitted to overtake whilst the reduced speed limit is in force.

The Order will come into force on 18 March 2025. The temporary restriction is expected to operate from 08:00 hours on that date and remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

SCHEDULE

• The length of the A483 trunk road near Glanhafren, north of Abermule that extends from a point 453 metres south of its junction with the U2636 to a point 426 metres north of that junction.
• The length of the A483 trunk road south of Dolfor that extends from a point 25 metres north-east of its junction with the access to the property known as Caelydan to the existing permanent 30 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Dolfor.
• The length of the A44 trunk road that extends from a point 433 metres east of its junction with the access to the property known as Pengwaith, west of Llangurig to a point 641 metres west of that junction.
