Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
Albion Road, Marden TN12 9FX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Albion Road, Marden, on or after 12th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Plain Road and Seymour Drive, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plain Road, B2079 Goudhurst Road, B2079 West End, B2079 Church Green, B2079 High Street, Howland Road, Albion Road and vice versa.
Nursery Avenue, Allington ME16 0HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new electric cable installation to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nursery Avenue, Allington, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between number 2 and 10. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
B2163 Heath Road, West Farleigh (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Heath Road, West Farleigh, on or after 28th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Charlton Lane to the junction of Upper Barn Hill, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Heath Road, Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Station Hill, B2163 Ewell Lane and vice versa.
B2163 Teston Lane, Teston ME18 5RB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow level crossing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Teston Lane, Teston, on or after 13th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the level crossing, between the hours of 23:30 and 04:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2163 Teston Lane, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 High Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2015 Bow Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2163 Teston Lane and vice versa.
Burberry Lane, Leeds ME17 1RH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Burberry Lane, Leeds, on or after 11th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junction of B2163 Lower Street and Battel Hall Oast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via George Lane, B2163 Lower Street and vice versa.
Church Lane, East Sutton ME17 3DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow signage installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Church Lane, East Sutton, on or after 10th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Charlton Lane and Workhouse Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Charlton Lane, Chartway Street, Workhouse Lane and vice versa.
Cox Street, Detling (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cox Street, Detling, on or after 27th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from Barngarth Farm Cottage to the junction of White Hill Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via White Hill Road, Scragged Oak Road, Court Lane, Cox Street and vice versa.
Cripple Street, Tovil ME15 6BE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow lamp column works to be carried out, Kent County Council had made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cripple Street, Tovil, on or after 11th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Orchard End. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Cripple Street, Teasaucer Hill, Hayle Mill Road, Cave Hill, Straw Mill Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Courtenay Road, Quarry Road, Postley Road, Armstrong Road, A229 Loose Road, Cripple Street and vice versa.
Fant Lane, Barming ME16 8TR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow highway improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Fant Lane, Barming, on or after 10th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A26 Tonbridge Road and Elmstone Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Fant Lane, Gatland Lane, Farleigh Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road and vice versa.
Horton Downs, Downswood ME15 8TN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Horton Downs, Downswood, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 1, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Lenham Road, Headcorn TN27 9LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lenham Road, Headcorn, on or after 12th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Springfield Farm, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Eastwood Road, Pye Corner, Headcorn Road, Crumps Lane, Ulcombe Road, Lenham Road and vice versa.
Pilgrims Way, Boxley ME14 3EB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new signage to be installed, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Boxley, on or after 10th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the Saw Mills and the junction of Harp Farm Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Shingle Barn Lane, West Farleigh ME15 0PJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shingle Barn Lane, West Farleigh, on or after 11th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Shingle Barn Cottages and Barn View, during the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Shingle Barn Lane, Hilltop, Upper Barn Hill, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Smiths Hill and vice versa.
Stickfast Lane, Ulcombe ME17 1HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stickfast Lane, Ulcombe, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Jubilee Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ulcombe Road, Kings Road, A274 Mill Bank, A274 Maidstone Road, East Sutton Road, Stickfast Lane and vice versa.
Matts Hill Road, Bredhurst (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new ducting installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Matts Hill Road, Bredhurst, on or after 30th March 2025 for up to 23 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Woodview, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Kemsley Street Road, The Street, Maidstone Road, Deanwood Drive, Tyler Drive, Mierscourt Road, Matts Hill Road and vice versa.
Stockton Close, Penenden Heath ME14 2DT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stockton Close, Penenden Heath, on or after 10th March 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Boxley Close, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
The Cockpit, Marden TN12 9HU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow frame and cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Cockpit, Marden, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 14. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Warmlake Road, Sutton Valence ME17 3LR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Warmlake Road, Sutton Valence, on or after 12th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Warm Haven. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Warmlake Road, A274 Maidstone Road, B2163 Plough Wents Road, Chart Corner, Amber Way, Warmlake Road and vice versa.
Westerhill Road, Coxheath ME17 4BX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Westerhill Road, Linton, on or after 27th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Amsbury Road to the junction of Barnes Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bon Fleur Lane, Redwall Lane, East Street, Hunton Hill, Amsbury Road and vice versa.
