What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
Dartford Area
Birchwood Road, Wilmington. DA2 7HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a sewer connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Birchwood Road, Wilmington, on or after 31st March 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 200.
The alternative route is via Birchwood Road and vice versa.
Canada Farm Road, Longfield & Pinden, South Darenth DA2 8EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Canada Farm Road, Longfield and Pinden, South Darenth, on or after 24th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B260 Green Street Green Road and Rabbits Road.
The alternative route is via B260 Green Street Green Road, Fawkham Road, Steep Hill, Valley Road, Scudders Hill, Canada Farm Road and vice versa.
Shirehall Road, Hawley. DA2 7SG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shirehall Road, Hawley, on or after 26th March 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 202.
The alternative route is via Shirehall Road, A225 Hawley Road, B258 Church Hill/High Road/Barn End Lane and vice versa.
Manor Road, Longfield & Hartley. DA3 7AU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manor Road, Longfield & Hartley, on or after 28th March 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near manor Farm.
The alternative route is via Hartley Bottom Road, North Ash Road, Ash Road, Hartley Road, B260 Main Road/Longfield Road and vice versa.
Mounts Road, Greenhithe. DA9 9LY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mounts Road, Greenhithe, on or after 30th March 2025 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 53.
The alternative route is via Mounts Road, A226 London Road, High Street, Stanhope Road, Swanscombe Street, Manor Road, Alkerden Lane and vice versa.
Red Street, Southfleet, DA13 9PX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Red Street, Southfleet, on or after 12th March 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way will be suspended to allow access.
The road will be closed on the left turn slip from Red Street onto New Barn Road only.
The alternative route is via Red Street, New Barn Road and vice versa.
