What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Mortimers Lane, Fair Oak & Horton Heath, Eastleigh

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Mortimers Lane between its junction with Goater Way and its junction with Willow Grove.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Winchester Road, Portsmouth Road, Mortimers Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 9th March 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Sunday 9th March 2025 and working between the hours 08:30-15:30).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to access underground cabling safely. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbelterentals.co.uk
