Hillside, Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works

HILLSIDE, CRUMLIN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

Hillside between its junctions with Parry Terrace and Kennard Terrace.

The proposed Order is expected to commence on 7 March 2025 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 19 March 2025.

Access for emergency service, residents, and pedestrians will be maintained where possible.

Alternative routes are via Kendon Road, Rhiw Level Road.

The reason for making the Order is to allow for gas mains replacement.

The order is required by Wales & West Utilities.

HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:

Hillside rhwng y cyffyrdd â Parry Terrace a Kennard Terrace.

Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arferiaeth gychwyn ar 7 Mawrth 2025 am gyfnod nad yw’n fwy na deunaw mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 19 Mawrth 2025.
