Cornwall - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Network Alteration And Refurbishment Works

What is happening?

Temporary Orders 

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 

The County of Cornwall (Access To Rear Of 1 To 9 West Place, Road From West Place To Lafrowda Close, Road From Cape Cornwall Street To The Health Centre, St Just) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

 Notice is hereby given that Cornwal Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Just. 

This prohibition is necessary for network alteration and refurbishment works and it is expected that the closure wil be from 10th March 2025 to 21st March 2025.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Roads affected - Access To Rear Of 1 To 9 West Place for its entire length, Road From West Place To Lafrowda Close from junction with West Place to The Knut, Road From Cape Cornwall Street To The Health Centre from junction with Road From West Place To Lafrowda Close to Trelew House, St Just.

Pedestrian access will be maintained to properties.

The County of Cornwall (Fore Street, A3071 Cam Bosavem, A3071 From Lafrowda Common To Cam Bosavern, A3071 From Botrea To Lafrowda Common, St Just, A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Lane To Botrea, Bosvenning Common Road, A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Tremethick Cross, Newbridge, A3071 Between Tremethick Cross And Mount Misery Roundabout, Tremethick Cross and North Road, Newbridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwal Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Newbridge.This prohibition is necessary for a rolling road closure for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure wil be from 10th March 2025 to 14th March 2025.

 The prohibition wil be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekends included.

 Roads affected - Fore Street, St Just A3071 Cam Bosavern, A3071 From Lafrowda Common To Cam Bosavern, St Just, A3071 From Botrea To Lafrowda Common, St Just, A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Lane To Botrea, Newbridge, Bosvenning Common Road, Newbridge, A3071 Between Bosvenning Common Road And Tremethick Cross, Newbridge and A3071 Between Tremethick Cross And Mount Misery Roundabout, Tremethick Cross for their entire lengths and North Road. 

Newbridge between grid refernce SW 40626 31756 and the junction Access track to Wheal Buller.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Rectory Road To Boskenna Cross, St Buryan) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1994 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Buryan. 

This prohibition is necessary for oveday works and it is expected that the dosure will be from 12th March 2025 to 17th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the 24 bourse day, weekends included. 

Road affected - Road From Rectory Road To Boskenna Cross, St Buryan from outside Lefra Farm Cottage to grid reference SW 41476:25499.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Tregadgwith To Junction To Trevider Farm, St Buryan) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Buryan.This prohibition is necessary for essential tree works and it is expected that the dosure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. The prohibition wil be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Tregadgwith To Junction To Trevider Farm, St Buryan from property known as Vdlansagia to Penmennor Farm. 

An alternative route wil be signed on site.
