The County of Cornwall (A3047 Dual Carriageway Eastbound From Barncoose Terrace To Avers Roundabout, A3047 Dual Carriageway Westbound From Avers Roundabout To Barncoose Terrace, Tolgus Vean, Redruth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Redruth. 

This prohibition is necessary for guuly emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th March 2025 to 14th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - A3047 Dual Carriageway Eastbound From Barncoose Terrace To Avers Roundabout, A3047 Dual Carriageway Westbound From Avers Roundabout To Barcoose Terrace, Tolgus Vean, Redruth between Tesco and Redruth School.

The County of Cornwall (Came, Gillan, Manaccan) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Manaccan. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th March 2025 to 27th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - Came for its entire length and Gillan between the junction of Carne and grid reference SW78158 24641, Manaccan.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Portscatho. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Churchtown Road, Portscatho between the junctions of Tregassick Road and Mount View Close.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carnon Downs. 

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th March 2025 to 9th April 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekends included. Road affected - Road From Junction West Of Chycowlin To Valley Lane, Carnon Downs between grid reference SW79652 40800 and the junction of Valley Lane. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bissoe. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Road From Cross Lanes To Bissoe, Bissoe for its entire length.

Cornwall Council 
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) 
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Erisey Terrace To Trevethan Road Falmouth for its entire length. 

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a collapsed wall. 

The Order will come into operation on 26th February 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 25th July 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 5th February 2025 for a period of 21 days. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

The County of Cornwall (Foundry Road and Stray Park Way, Camborne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camborne. 

This prohibition is necessary for essential maintenance works to a Telecom mast and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th March 2025, for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Foundry Road, Camborne between the junction with Clos Trevithick and Stray Park Road and Stray Park Way, Camborne between the junction with Foundry Road and grid reference SW 65578 39853. No alternative route is available.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gernick. 

This prohibition is necessary for gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th March 2025 to 27th March 2025. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Gernick Lane, Gernick between the properties named The Cottage and Gernick Farm.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Roads affected - Glen Leigh from No 2 to junction with Montague Avenue, Montague Avenue, Redruth from No 75 to No 83.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th March 2025 for one day.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Falmouth. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th March 2025 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. 

Road affected - Kersey Road, Falmouth between property number 20 and the property named Tamarisk.

The County of Cornwall (Various Roads Lanner) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Stopping) Order 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lanner. 

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th March 2025 to 12th April 2025. 

Road subject to prohibition - Lanner Hill, Lanner for its entire length. 

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Lanner. 

Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. 

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Lanner Hill for its entire length, Pennance Road between the junction of Lanner Hill and the property named Lalesa, Road From Lanner Hill To Lanner Green between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 38, Lannarth Glas between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71427 40057, Lanner Green between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71450 40035, Henscol between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 3A, Ankervis Lane between the junctions of Lanner Hill and Sunnyside Terrace, Rough Street between the junction of Lanner Hill and grid reference SW71628 39951, Bell Lane between the junction of Lanner Hill and property number 2 and Pennance Lane between the junctions of Lanner Hill and Lower Pennance, Lanner. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
