What is happening?

The East Riding Of Yorkshire Council 

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (I) Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Main Street, Elloughton (Part) 

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Main Street, Elloughton (junction with Brantingham Road and Church Street) commencing Monday 17 March 2025 to allow CCTV and jetting works to take place. 

The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. 

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 March 2025. 

There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure. 

The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. 

The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles.
