Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025
Appleton Close/Barnehurst Road, Bexleyheath - Notice of Intention
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable works to repair a collapsed pipe by Cappagh Contractors on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) for the entire length of Appleton Close, Bexleyheath
2. The Order will come into effect on 10 March 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 12 days
1. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available
- Access will be maintained
2. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
3. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025 Main Road, Sidcup - Notice of Making an Order
1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable highway improvement works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Main Road, Sidcup from the junction with Stafford Road to the junction with Orchard Road, Sidcup
- No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) in Main Road, Sidcup from the junction with Stafford Road to the junction with Orchard Road, Sidcup
2. The Order will come into effect on 27 February 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months, However, the works are expected to be completed within 3 days
3. Whilst the works are in progress an alternative route will be available via
- Main Road, Elm Road, Chislehurst Road, Sidcup By Pass(A20) Green Lane, Foots Cray Road and reverse
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
5. The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable the installation of a new water main by Galliford Try on behalf of Thames Water, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- No waiting no loading (Parking Restrictions) as detailed in Schedule One of this order
2. The Order will come into effect on 1 March 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 18 Months
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an order has been made, to enable Morrison Water Services Ltd to undertake a new water connection, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition from No 2 to No 16 Knoll Road, Bexley (both sides of the carriageway).
2. The Order will come into effect on 3 March 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 9 March 2025.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be necessary.

1. The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14{1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable JDT Utilities Ltd on behalf of Southern Gas Networks to undertake their Gas Mains Replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
- Prohibition of traffic in Bradbourne Road, Bexley
- Prohibition of traffic in Elmington Close, Bexley
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition Bradbourne Road, Bexley entire length and both sides of the carriageway
- Waiting restriction and Loading prohibition Elmington Close, Bexley entire length and both sides of the carriageway.
Restrictions to be removed when not required.
2. The Order will come into effect on 6 March 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
3. Whilst the works are in progress no alternative routes will be available. However, access is to be always maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden, to emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
