THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

C51, Avondale Road, Polmont from 07.30 hours on 01/03/2025 until 17.00 hours on 31/08/2025. The prohibition is for road safety concerns and to allow for embankment works adjacent to the carriageway.

1. This Order temporarily closes C51, Avondale Road, Polmont from approx Jinkabout Bridge for a distance of approx. 250m to approx Polmont Hill Cottage
2. The alternative route: C51- Jinkabout Bridge, A905- Wholeflats Road, C71- Grange Road, C51- Bo’ness Road, A803- Main Street, A803- Gilston Roundabout, A803, A803- Lathallan Roundabout, C51- Avondale Road and vice versa.

Bogend Road, Torwood from 08:00 on 03/03/25 until 18:00 on 07/03/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Bogend Road, Torwood from a point adjacent to A9 in an easterly direction for approximately 750 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A9, B9124, Plean Mill Road, Bogend Road or vice versa.
