Piccadilly Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
PICCADILLY ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 03 March to 31 March 2025
WHERE: Piccadilly Road, Chesterfield between its Jct. with Crow Lane to its Jct. with Wain Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate gas main renewal works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Piccadilly Road (from point of closure), A632, Lordsmill Interchange, B6543 Lordsmill Street, St Marys Gate , Holywell Street, Donut Interchange, Brewery Street, Malkin Street, Crow Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
